Week of August 25th 


The Rebel Band has had a really great first week of school!  Keep up the good work.  Here are some reminders:

Cheesecake order forms were due on Friday.  If you forgot to bring yours, sell some more cheesecakes this weekend and bring your form on Monday.

This is just a reminder about the 8:00 start time for our first period rehearsals.  We have been have some of our students coming in late.  You are counted tardy.  Please leave home a little earlier and be at rehearsal on time.

We will have 7:15 rehearsals on Tuesday and Thursday this week.  Do not forget.  These are critical rehearsals for having our opener "on the field" by the end of the week.  Thanks for your dedication!

If you have not already done so, please be getting your band queen donations and patron listing for the concert program.  This is traditionally our biggest and most successful fund raiser every year.  Remember that each band member is expected to raise $100 toward our band budget and anything above that will go toward their Hawaii trip.

Hawaii $200 deposit and contracts are due on September 2nd.

We have attached the handouts from the band parent meeting if you were not here.  This includes a list of private lesson instructors, a list of required section class books, and section class policies.

Section class books need to be purchased ASAP.  We will begin 7:15 section classes in a couple of weeks.  We'll have the schedule out by the end of next week.

After the game on September 12th, we will have our first band party for the school year.  The party will be at the First Christian Church Fellowship Hall.  Everyone please plan on attending this fun event.  We will get more information to you later.
